Buang Merabak: additional early radiocarbon evidence of the colonisation of the Bismarck Archipelago

This paper presents new evidence in support of the Leavesley et al. (2002) claim that human occupation of the Bismarck Archipelago began by at least 39 500 bp, 4000 years prior to previous evidence. Antiquity Vol 78 No 301 September 2004.
