I live I Spanish Fort, AL. A couple of summers ago, I took my three kids to Blakley State Park in Baldwin Co., one of the last battles were fought during the civil war. It was a clear, cloudless day, we were the only visitors in the park at that time. (it's usually not a crowded place and it was during a work day) We had been walking around the breastworks on the confederate side when we heard what sounded like a gun shot. I stood still trying to listen and figure out what I heard when I heard a loud moaning sound, like someone in pain. Well, me being the adult in the group and not wanting to frighten the kids, I told them we were leaving. As we walked to the car, my oldest son (15 yrs) asked me if I heard that gun shot and moan? The other two had also heard it. A couple of months later we went back to go hiking, without my oldest son, he refused to go. lol The park ranger told me a story about another ranger who was cutting grass in the field by the breastworks and saw an old soldier walking into the woods. He swore he would never go back there again. It really is a beautiful place to visit and I don't always get that spooky feeling.

We live across the street from an old fort site that is rich in confederate history. We have been visited by a lady in a long white dress. She was seen in the early daylight hours by my father-in-law, who thought I had walked outside in my gown. I had been inside all that morning. We have one wall in our house that makes a noise that sounds like a rope slapping against the paneling. Friends have seen the water faucets in the restroom turn on by themselves. My daughter's bedroom door opens by itself, this has been witnessed many times. I need to buy stock in the lighbulb industry, we are always changing blown out bulbs. We never feel threatened, we just kinda laugh about it.

My parents house was built in the mid to late 1800's. They have lived there nearly 30 years. Ever since we moved there (I was 6 years old) we have been host to the spirit of a man. We know that it is a man for two reasons: A. We hear his heavy footsteps as he walks the upstairs hall late at night. And B. I saw him. He did not speak nor did he approach me, he only sat at the foot of my bed as if he were watching over me. We also know that he was a smoker because on many occasions we have smelled cigarette smoke, no one in our family smokes. We have never feared him as he has never given us reason to do so. He does, however, have a sense of humor. On many occations he would move oblects from one spot in the house to another, start a music box playing and even liked to set the on/off switch on the vaccum cleaner to the on position so that it would start running as soon as I plugged it in.

I am open to any input on this matter.

My sister rents a rowhouse that had been burnt down and rebuilt. The basement has 2 diffrent color split rows of bricks and a small room with a wooden framed dusty glass door for the oil heater. The top floor has a skylight between the bathroom and bedroom.I believe it has...in it.
On the lower stair step I felt pressure in my lower back which is unusual at the time being 2 months pregnant with my now 3 month old son.I had a lot of dreams I cant remember that my sis would have to wake me cause' I was sweaty and swinging.Even though that fire started on the bottom level I was worried about going upstairs to bed waking up screaming for no reason.
It seemed like the day I thought it could be super-natural is the day the doors stopped flinging open and my abnormal sleeping motions stopped.Whats up with that?

GHOSTS are REAL... The SPIRIT ,never dies.. The Bible tells us that.. I believe, from all my years of writing & research & experience, SPIRITS are very alive & still conscious, ENERGY bodies simply existing in an altered electrical vibration state. Refer Bible 1 Corinthians 3 verse 16 & also 1 Corin. 15 verses 44 to 54 & James 2 verse 26 "...For the body without the spirit is dead." Read 1 Peter 1 verse 6 also, for yourselves... Hope this helps those who seek faith in an after-life. c2002 Aust. Roses

to Roses
spirits may or may not be true in sense some belive it to be the dead not finish with reality (ghost), others that have moved on and can't or refuse to belive that they are dead, or that the spirits are nothing more than angels sent to protect us. there are even those sceptics that think it's the work of the devil playing nasty tricks on our minds. Belive in what you want and what you must, because you're only here for a short time, make the best of it, learn from your experiences and never give up hope...

You know it weird that there are so many similar stories to mine. Cause the last house i lived in was pretty old. I was upstairs walking down my hallway to turn on the light, when out of the bedroom in front of me walked a young girl.I saw her very clearly. Blonde hair, long white shirt and dark brown pants. It wasn't real though, it was kind of like those hollographic images. She didnt even look at me. She cut me off and turned the corner to walk down my stairs. I freaked, and ran for the light, which of course I couldnt find. When I looked away she was gone.

Other weird things have happened to me at my current address. It's also over 100 years old. I always see flashes move across the tops of my walls. No cars driving by no flashlights on, no accountablity. Also, I have 3 young kids and one day I heard a muffled cry in the kids closet. I freaked, thinking it was my 2 year old being smothered. When I ran in there, the kids weren't there. They were off in another room playing quietly be themselves. Also in the same room my husband turned off the cartoons on the TV, and swore he heard one of the kids ask "why'd you do that?" But once again, no kids around. Also my light bulbs in the basement always blow. Usually within the same couple of days. I've went so far as to buy those expensive bulbs, and have the wiring checked. Still they blow often. This is the same basement that I've felt cold breezes rush right by my face and then gone, I've also seen a shadow of someone moving in the back of the hallway down there. There always seems to be a noise of some sort when I go down there by myself. Also all three of my fire alarms chirp when I walk into the rooms. Even when I change the batteries, it only takes a couple of weeks and its back to the chirping. Seems to only be only when we enter the room though. And the strangest thing yet was a dream that I had. I saw a little boys bedroom it was in the attic of my house (in my dream) completely isolated, just a small old bed and an old booksehelf. On the bookshelf was a picture of a little boy, and a couple of cars. In my dream I saw a full name, and address under the picture. It looked like a baseball card. In my dream I thought I needed to remember this, so I was gonna wrtie down the info, and see what I could find, but when I started to write it down in my dream, someone pulled my foot and I woke up. Not remembering the name of course. But isn't that weird. I didnt recognize the boy or his name. But why would I dream this, and who yanked my foot to wake me up. No one was there. I would love to go on crossing over to see what he would say about all of this.

I think my boyfriends dad is trying to communicate with me even though I never met him. Is this possible? Why me and not my boyfriend or his step mom? Nothing like this has ever happened to me that I know of...He passed on two years ago.

I HAVE HAD ALOT OF THINGS HAPPEN TO ME LIKE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU.LIKE ONE TIME IT WAS ABOUT 2 MAYBE 3 O CLOCK WHEN ALL THE SUDDEN THE FIRE ALARM IN MY ROOM WENT OFF.I RAN IN HOROR TO TELL MY MOM(ON THE COUNT OF I WAS ONLY 8)THAT MY FIRE ALARM WENT OFF.SHE WAS UP WATCHING TV.YET SHE HEARD NOTHING.ANOTHER TIME I WAS SLEEPING ABOUT THE SAME TIME AND ALL THE SUDDEN SOMETHING HIT MY BED AND HIT IT HARD TOO.I QUICKLY JUMPED UP TO LOOK AROUND.AT FIRST I GOT OUT OF BED AND LOOKED AROUN ON THE GROUND BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS A STUFFED ANIMAL(IT WAS THE SAME YEAR)THAT FELL.BUT THERE WAS NOTHING.AND SOMETIMES I GET IN TROUBLE(BECAUSE IM ONLY 11)BECAUSE MY MOM WILL COME IN AND TURN IT OFF AFTER I GO TO SLEEP AND WHEN SHE GETS UP IN THE MORNINGSHE SEES IT ON.PERSONALLY I THINK IT IS A GHOST NAMED BUTCH. HE DIED IN HIS HOUSE SOME HOW (I DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY)AND NOW HE SUPPOSIDLY WALKS THE NEIGHBORHOOD.HE DEFINATELY HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR THOUGH.HES ALWAYS PLAYS PRANKS AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE.LIKE MOVING AROUND OBJECTS AND SETTING FORWARD AND BACKWARD CLOCK.
