I myself am definately interested in the "supernatural" I believe that there are things beyond my understanding....BUT.. i dont think MOST of what ive seen out there qualifys. We need people looking at things with a harsher eye, not willing to believe every "Amityville Horror" is real... Not blowing up the Switchboards at Tiny Burkettsville Maryland, to see if that friggin witch is real or not. Unfortuneately the NET is a land of Hot or cold... not warm. YOu have one site thats Totally PRO- Paranormal, and one that is totally CON-parnormal and never the tween shall meet. Is there Any middle ground?

Not Every light flickering on and off is a ghost (True story... Lived with a couple of Wiccans who wouldnt go into that bathroom until my handy dandy screwdriver managed to kill THAT ghost)

But im by no means ARROGANT enough to believe that i know how EVERYthing in this universe works.... so please.. there has GOT to be a site a lil more down the middle out there for folks interested in this stuff... im sick of Camera Strap Phantoms and Lint in the lens ghosts... gimme somethin Good...and OBJECTIVE!!

I am with you, Matt! I have also experienced very weird things, but I am not ready to just believe that it all has to do with either Ghosts and Goblins, Aliens or Angels and Demons.I am not ready to join any one group that thinks they have all the answers.I think these things are all connected, but it is just a matter of perception as to what people THINK is happening.I am all for communicating these experiences to try to reach some common ground with other experiencers to maybe find some truth in the madness we call "LIFE".I do try to keep my sense of humor about some of it or I will go crazy(again),because shit happens and whoyagonnacall?
I created a site to try to find that "warm" spot ,as you put it.I dont have many answers either, but I still look.

I am with you, but I want so much to believe you have no idea. I have posted other pleas if you will along this site all over. I have a need to believe, because my mother is dieing of emphysema. I need to know there is somewhere for her to go besides just winking out. I had a dream onetime of a ghost passing through my body it felt so real including the wind it caused on its way through and everything but it did not confirm anything for me. I'm the type to have to experience it for myself, and my sister is a medium. A good one so I hear, but we just met in 1996 (A long story) I have yet to get a reading from her. She swears up and down that's it's really true that there really is something beyond death. I need to see for myself, preferably before I die. Maybe it will help me to let go when my mother goes.

WOW!! My sister is a medium and I finally went to one of her demo's last night and she was about 85% accurate about the people she read. I was shocked. I am still a skeptic but not nearly as much. I couldn't believe some of the things, personal things that she hit on. Things that knowbody else would know except for that person. She did not generalize at all. I have only just met my sister in 1996 (it's a long story) anyway I finally got to watch her do her stuff. She's gona read me pretty soon so I'll keep you infromed of my findings. Believe me, I am the last to believe anything until I see it for myself. so if there is absolutely no doubt I'll surly let you know.

I read tarot cards. i will tell you from personal experience, don't give a Draco Voran's posterior if it is supernatural or not (asian flying lizard's arse by the way) It works. I had a guy sit down, and I did not know right away this guy was gay. i actually deduced it from the cards but had to try very hard to present it without coming out and saying your boyfriend is a loser. it was confirmed by our mutual friend when the guy got up to use the can. he leaned over said "you might not have noticed but that reading was perfect, he's gay" the querent was smiling when he left apparantly he was trying to decide wether to leave this guy or not. that is just the ODDEST reading I have ever done. most are pretty normal job changes when will I meet somebody, what went wrong with this? stuff like that. Of course I have had a handfull of stinkers too where I completely loused the readings. "lack of humility tends to do that with tarot for me"

I hear you Matt, people experience things they can't explain. They fabricate explainations with out proving it to themselves. That's why there are so many strange ideas about things. Some times eccentric ideas get circulated. The ideas circulating may not have any relation to the phenonemon, but are just the way the subjects find closure.
