The more I read about Atlantis, the more I believe that it existed. I just can't understand why the didn't found anything. Even with satelites we can't find it. Maybe it's already discovered and kept a secret because of some reason. My opinion is that the reason could be that the roots of atlantis are extra-terrestrial. What do others think about this?
Atlantis was a myth. If it existed at all it would have been dicovered already. Why don't you ask the Lemurians.

LIke the government would let us know... They control the satellites! It could be in Antarctica. I don't think continental drift could fully explain. A meteor might have changed the angle of earth's axis. They've chosen Greenwich as the zero point,but that's long after Atlantis. Maybe, what we now call, the degrees of latitude used to be the degrees of longitude or so. Everybody knows how a (2D) map of earth looks likes. Turn it one quarter counter clock or so. Maybe THAT's what earth looked like in the time of Atlantis. And then the position of the sun will do his thing. If the whole earth moved, continents got into other climats and who knows, Atlantis may be under packs of ice.
like the government would let us know? what the hell? the government isn't capable of keeping it's budget or the affairs of it's leaders secret for more than a few days. What makes you think that the government can keep things like another continent, aliens or perpetual motion a secret for decades?
Atlantis was destroyed in a pole shift. And yes, believe it or not, Evothek, the Government keeps TONS of things from the public. Especially about the NWO, area 51 or anything else to do with aliens (entities), time travel, you name it. Ever hear of shadow government? Or underground cities made just for them for the future mainly? The world's population will banish later for more reasons than one.

They'd like to to think they run the world anyway probably. =) I've heard that about Groom lake, and also have heard that it's there to distract attention away from the real research lab. Like a decoy duck. Who knows? This stuff is so fascinating tho. Atlantis many believe were very advanced in technology such as today, or even more so. Makes ya wonder how but some people think it's more of a spiritual land than anything.

Atlantis was most likely a large island city state in the mediterranian or nearby that was destroyed by volcano or earthquake in the early days of greek civilization

Yes the... well all governments do keep things secret. But another continent? yeah right.. now the American Military keeps things at Groom Lake classified due to national security. but I still seriously doubt that it's because it's a secret alien research lab.. however the Blackbird and the current stealth bombers and fighters were both tested there. Since the 50's and earlier. That's why it has such tight security.. that and the hazardous materials testing and chem warfare tests...
The NWO is a paranoid conspiracy theorist invention (as I belong to a few organisations that apparantly are a part of it and hey.. they haven't mentioned it to me yet.) Underground cities? towns maybe in secure areas for American government staff in times of war. hell I know the approximate locations of two American and one Canadian bunker.. and even maybe a British one. though I think that one is unused and decommed.
Shadow Government? the half a dozen people who actually run the U.S.? yeah they exist for sure.. honest I"ve been saying for years that the real job of the president is to distract attention from the ones who really run the government. But I doubt they run the world.
