Let me state one thing, Aliens are not small humans, painted green with big eyes and antenna glued to their head. think evolution people, we are what we are because we need every aspect of our body for something, for our surrounding environment, our planet. for example people evolved darker skin to survive in the heat of the equator, aliens may evolve to be invisible to hide from the sun. hey its possible!
What do you mean invisible? they would probably have different light recievers from us(if any). So invisible to us or them - or are you talking dark matter and black hole invisible (or as I like to call such bodies - "007's Aston Martin Vanquish")
am I the only one who is amused by the great numbers of reported instances of 'greys' after the movie close encounters of the third kind? before this aliens were reported with a variety of different shapes and features.. but after this movie the creatures that featured in it were almost all anyone reported.

Umm... life from another would evolve whatever way was needed for it to survive in it's environment. So in europia they might look fish but more probably the only life we will find in our Solar System (if any) is bacteria.
In the milky way - well it would be completly different from planet to planet, but remember it would have to obey laws of physics so nothing too outrageous okay sorry for the ramble I am tired can't remember my inital point
