I've noticed that there isn't a discussion on one of the biggest mistories of the planet Earth (Well, there are different explanations, but which ones are true?)
Please drop a line and tell me, or us, what you think.
Why do the ships go off radar, where do they go, has it got something to do with the OTHER side of the planet? Or could all these ships and aircrafts just be destroyed in high waves or hurricanes?

ye, ive heard it is due to something on the other side of the planet. cant remember what though... gr...

heres my question i live in florida and one of the points of the triangle is in the area where i live so why is it florida does not have the same things happen the the ocean part does??

I believe that geologists discovered that when the tectonic plates in the ocean move or shift in the bermuda triangle, a gas is released and if a boat or plane happens to be over it then there will be an explosion. They have found the wreckages of boats and planes to validate this theory.

I heard that there are actually two places like that: The bermuda triangle at one side of the world and the Dragons triangle(i'm not sure if this is the correct name) at exact place on the other side of the world near to japan.
It's less known than the bermuda but it has the same strange things happening.

does anyone know if any satellite photos have been taken of the triangle? that might prove once and for all if there are islands in it like that movie said....

By Sid on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 - 10:25 pm:

The Dragons Triangle that you refer to is the Devils Sea. There's also the Great Lakes Triangle. Don't know about satellite photos.

it is interesting that the myths and legends of these two places, the berumuda triangle and the devils sea, have exisisted on direct opposites of the world long before there was any contact between the peoples of the two areas.

Which means to me at least there must be something happening there.. Whatever it is.

I seriously doubt that the lost ships and planes are due to adverse weather. But what it is I"m not sure. Dimensional portals, negative space, giant tentacled beasts from beyond, rapidly fluctuating magnetic fields.. All have their proponents..

anyone have any thoughts as to what it is?

By Tobias on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 - 03:30 pm:

i want it to be a portal to another demension. i want to travel and places like the far east aren't really far anymore 'ya know? maybe there are whole other worlds thru there. i could be a great inventor! or maybe.....i'm just an idiot.oh well.that's all i got. ^_^;

By Evothek9 on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 - 08:09 pm:

lol... magicians and great inventors are realy just dimensional travellers... Hmmmm I can see that one.

The Bermuda Triangle has an effect which causes ships to sink. Hydrogen? gas is released from the bottom of the ocean and when it reaches the surface right below a boat, it changes the density of the water, thus causing the ballast of the ship to be off(too heavy, cause of the 'lighter' water it sits on) and it sinks rapidly, being overtken by water once the gas is gone and the boat sinks straight to the bottom w/ no damage/wreckage...
