i have taken a serious interest in parapsychology and i have noticed that there are not many colleges which give courses on parapsychology.A lot of the universities i would like to attend do not for sure. I was wondering if anyone knew of any colleges in which you could take a course in parapsychology or anything similar? also, i was wondering if i had a career as a parapsychologist, would i only make money from it if i wrote books or could i get paid also for lecturing at a school or something?

Actually, when I was younger, and finishing high school, I looked for parapsy. college and found that either North Carolina Un. or North Carolina college @ Wilmington, or University of NC. had the degree. I had some kin that attended the college and she knew some graduates with a Para degree. She said though that all are waiting tables for a living, and I should think in another direction. This is what I came up with, and you might be interested...Think about degrees in "Experimental Psychology"...I loved these classes, and they will "grill" "drill" and "tattoo" the experimental design theory into you. It will train you to design experiments (ghost research) and eat, drink and live the scientific approach. Plus you can get a job working at a Major University with a PHD. and get some research funded for you. Hope this helps.

I have this dream to become a great expert on the paranormal, but I don't know what kind of a job can you get? If anyone else has any more words of wisdom let them speak! Feel free to email me if you want to chat.
