Just wondering if any one has any thoughts on how crop circles may be effected by the epidemic of foot and mouth. I suspect there will be fewer.
Are you saying that aliens will become infected by foot and mouth disease?
well no not specifically aliens being infected, but perhaps they will not visit the fienlds this year as the epidemic could be spread by visitors to the circles from neighbouring infected farms. if humans are responsable perhaps they will see the sense in not tempting the desease to the areas of wiltshire and hampshire which are prone to circles. i understand there are hefty fines for people caught on the property of farmers be they circlemakers or visitors.
that's an interesting aspect; I'd be very curious to see statistics of crop circles following the foot and mouth crisis.

Of course, a drop in the reporting of crop circles during that time many not only be due to people not making fakes at a time when they're banned from effected land, but may also be due to less people being able to see "real" circles as less people are surveying/walking the land.
