My friend is into Wicca. I just wanted to know,
If a Wiccan joined "Fear", would they be able
to protect themselves with spells?

so ur saying Wicca is Evil? what a moron you are hella . you know that wicca is the OLDEST recored belief in history before christ before buddah around 1200 bc. i say belief because religon indicates some sort of formal gathering and in wicca is a a divinly unique and personal connection with the earth goddess. I will tell you what is evil a relgion that belives in eternal damnation for "sins" . Based on a 3000 year plus book that is made up of scrolls found in a cave by the daead sea taht BY THE WAY they are still finding parchments missing documents of the no called BIBLE. so not only is the bible incomplete missing 13 years of christs life but also written in 4 different lauguengs that barely was inturpted by MONKS and DRUIDS . and withc by has killed and slaughted Millions under for. so hella look at the Bible and say millions have been killed for what someone eles belived what was right so what makes me right in labeling others evil??

HERES A GOOD QUESTION FOR YOU.
How can wicca be older then christainity?
Didnt GOD create heaven and earth? ALSO.......
Adam and Eve? I am assuming Adam & Eve were christains...?
Also, by the way hella speaks as a christain not as a wiccan. She doesnt believe in the 4 conners.
=)Just a thought.

Actually the oldest ACTUAL evidence of religion is taken from Cave Art. Where often Sabbertooth tigers and wooly mammoths are worshipped... Never read anything about them in Wiccan books. ;P

But to my knowledge, the eldest evidence of written religion is Chaldean in origin. Some tablets which are housed at the British Museum were exhumed at Ninevah that date fourth century BC making them a few thousand years older than this claim of when wiccan was born. Wicca is a new world religion, or Neo-Pagan, which borrows heavilly from beliefs of this earlier time period where astrology was basically branched into three entities... The Sun, Stellar, and Moon. There's also some credible evidence that the Moon "goddess" was actually a "god" back then. And a popular phrase and practice Wiccans use... "Drawing Down The Moon" is derived from one of the Keys of Solomon.

Of further interest these tablets contain the tales of Gilgamesh and The Deluge, which later became Sampson And Delilah and Noah's Ark in the bible. Should be added that these aforementioned tablets and their tales also predate Abraham by 5,000 years.

To my knowledge this is so far the oldest evidence of recorded written religion. However some Egyptian artifacts come very close!
