To all the crew members, producers, etc. of fear :

Great job on the recent season.

I have to admit I stopped watching during the second season. It seemed to me that some of the stuff took away from the fear of "ghosts". Things like leeches crawling on arms and having someone stick their head in a box so roaches could fall on their head seemed pretty lame to me. These things seemed to be prevalent in the second season. After watching the new season, I haven't seen any of this. Thank you. Fear is finally scary again.

Anway, enough of the rant. I had a question for Kriss.

Taking from my own experience and the numerous books I have read, I tend to side with the theory that there are not actual ghosts in the traditional sense. Merely psycic imprints left by strong emotions on physical objects. Our own instinctive abilities allow us to tap in to this energy causing things to manifest. I am of course only an amateur investigator so I dont think that my theories are absolute. I was wondering if this fits with your experiences or if you believe that actual spirits of the dead haunt a given place and if that is the case have you had encounters with both menevolant and benevolant spirits.

p.s. Sorry, I know I cant spell.

I too was very sick of the "critter" dares. I am so glad we are through with those.

I used to think the same way you do, that ghosts were just impressions of emotions or whatever. But, after years of investigating I now believe that many ghosts are the actual personalities of the deceased. These ghosts interact with the living and are very sentient. I think the interaction level of the ghost depends on the mental state at the time of death in many cases.

Dont worry about spelling, I didnt notice a thing. :)

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Your note on the personalities of the deceased was interesting. For clarification, do you believe these are the actual spirits of those who have died or instead a separate sentient manifestation of the deceased's state of being at the time of their death?

Kriss do you believe in auoras

SM, I think that depends on the circumstances, but yes, I do believe many ghosts are sentient, and can interact with the environment and the living.

Yes Brian, I know auroras are real, and there are many similarities between ghosts and auroras.

Well I think that Ghosts are just like everything els in this world and varry in inteligence and emotions there are so many different types of people so ghosts too are varried, I have been Researching the paranormal for years now and i think that there are just as many ghosts that are un aware of us as ones that are aware anc can interact
