In my opinion, the background music takes away much of the anticipation of hearing all the whispers and creaks of doors, footsteps, etc. The scariest episode to me was on the plantation when you could actually see and hear the door slam in the bedroom. I also believe in the same episode they should have not put people in the situation of of voodoo. That to me is very dangerous, and also when they were disturbing the cemetary. That is sacred ground. What do you think??
Rachel, the show's antics have been the thorn in my side since the second episode. I believe the worst episode was at the camp when some kid was burried in a coffin..??!?! This has to do with the paranormal? I have come to the realization here at this message board, that MTV is attempting to mix paranormal and scary "stunts" to produce ratings...go figure. It is their show, however, and they can do as they please. I still like the show, and am waiting to see the new season. If it were not for the "age" limits I would be delighted to be a contastant.
It is MTV, so they are really into the music angle. I happen to agree with you, but there is no changing it.
looser it was never scary
It's lame, just like the Blair Witch Projects 1 & 2.

I came up with a lot of the voodoo stuff, after weeks of research. Believe me, what they had the cast do was very mild in comparison with what the producer and I came up with. I do think messing around with Voodoo is a bad idea, but thats what they wanted, so thats what we gave them. I dont like the idea of digging in cemeteries either, I didnt have anything to do with that dare. I dont know what to say, except the producers had permission to do that from the owners of the cemetery.
I think the camp episode is the worst one as well,.....well...either that one or the cement factory. Both of those were before I was brought on board, so all I can say is I am keeping my fingers crossed that those kind of shows are behind us.
