I can't stand these MTV and Fox Family freaks taking our jobs and hobbies and turning them into high school hallway talk. Add some real shit (like orbs and portals) (if you even find any) just for us to look for. then those of us who aren't just idiots will watch more often. It just seems unbelievable that all that footage is shot in these "haunted" places and I have yet to see one tiny resemblance of an actual spirit.

FEAR isnt pretending to be a serious investigative show. Its called FEAR because the show is based on watching people freak out in scary places.

It is frustrating for those of us that are serious about ghost hunting and all I can say is that I am trying my best to throw some real investigating into the shows.

I have some real footage of orbs from the USS Hornet, the producers felt that it wasnt scary enough. They dont realize how hard it is to get that kind of footage. I mean, its a dead person floating around a room, but they dont see it that way.

What they dont show is all the equipment problems we have in these locations because of the ghosts, or the really weird and scary stuff the crew goes through during set up. Strange stuff happens to us all the time.

This season we are going to some really active places, and hopefully I can get some evidence they will deam scary enough for the show. Wish me luck.

i think fear is an ok show, but i also think that these teenagers on the show have no idea what they're doing. They think they do know and as soon as they get in there, they're too damn scared to do anything! They make believe it's a game by pissin off "spirits" and seeing how long they can stay in a locked room doing nothing. Even if they knew it was haunted they wouldn't do anything about it, just run home to have a good ghost story to talk about. Hans Holzer would be turning in his grave if he knew about this show!!!! tell me, what good is standing in a "haunted" room with your head in a noose???? ok bye bye 4 now until i get pissed off again..byebye!!! <3

The show is Entertainment only. It has nothing to do with Real Investigators, honestly our investigation are rather boring, and time consuming. Even in a High Activity area.

I watched Fear for a while, tried to give it a chance before forming the opinion that it's basically a scam. NO one is going to throw a bunch of completely inexperienced kids in a situation where they could conceivably be harmed in any way.

They say that there are no crew there, but obviously, there is. They're probably just tucked away somewhere so they can't be seen. The legalities alone are enough to make the Fear participants see things!

MTV is clever, they know how to instill chilling and horrifying images in these kids heads before sending them on an "investigation", but the show itself is a pre-fab joke.

I'd love to see a show which utilizes REAL paranormal investigators in these types of situations. People who actually have made names for themselves and know what they're doing.

You are so wrong about the show. While I admit its not anything like a real investigation, there is no crew and the locations are left as is for the most part. You obviously no nothing about the waivers we make the cast sign or the mentality of reality tv.

As far as the comment of there being no proof of hauntings in Fear. Um, have you watched all the shows? Sure some places there is no definitive proof but there have been 3 or 4 instances of definitely proof included in the show.

In any event, if you don't believe one should not bash the show. Comment on it, but don't bash.

My only personal complaint about the filming of the show is that because post-production ads so many sound effects it is almost impossible to distinguish what is a real sound from those that are mixed into the show.

Kriss, I would suggest that sometimes hearing SILENCE is scarier on television that hearing inserted sound effects. Sure they can be included in the show but they need to be used better.

I enjoy this show termendosly it realy does play on peoples sensitvity. To all those critics out there I would enjoy wathing you gon on this show for more then 30 minutes i would 5 thousand cash out of pocket you would be crying screamin yourself silly. Those who are ignorent to the super natural most of the time hide the deepest fear of actullay experienceing it. And to our emusment..lol. anyways i don't proclaim to be a famous researcher or damn know it all like most of these so call self appointed scholars that are on here, but if my experineces was every publicly expolited you would be pissing your pants twice. try being alone by yourself on a lay line between a graveyard and a ceraminal worshiping ground like here in nor. cali sit and meditate for 4 hours and watch all the fear and evil that has plauged your life surface in front of you manifesting it self into your deepest fear right in fron of your eyes. then tell me that it is fake.

I tell you what is fake most of these paranormal researchers useing a sciece to define something subjective listen it hasen't worked for 2 thousand years and now they think that with "modern tchnology" we can see auar's and experince a documented paranorormal activity... here is a question what is "normal" your definition would probley vastly differentiate from mine. educated fools is what people like paranormal researches are called. afraide that a tv show makes light of an "prestigous" career. whatever lame 'o why don't you stop complaining about your egotistical self absorbed life and get a REAL Fuc**ing job like the rest of us.

This is directed at Cindy Frye if she ever reads this. I think that you should try going on fear if you don't believe it. I would like to see you go to that place that all the team members quit the first try. Go into that well that they went to in the second group. That army man who in the begining said that he was not scared of anything, when he went into that well he quit. When they wouldn't let any of the otheres follow through with that dare that had to tell all the viewers something. But that is my opinion.
